In a study that was conducted, out of 600 girls in a school, 245 of them (40%) remained absent from school during their menstruation due to the lack of proper hygiene products and privacy at school. When this situation progresses, these kids ultimately drop out of school.
Go Hygiene Foundation is fighting tooth and nail to make sure children stay in school and get the education they deserve by helping them get the help they need through the Hygiene Kit. Sponsoring a child has become imperative at this time and supports this cause.
