Young women in both rural and urban India encounter many difficulties during their menstruation. Go Hygiene Foundation is a registered Public Charitable Trust, that addresses and counters every factor of period poverty. We strive for menstrual equity amongst women and girls thereby empowering them.
Since last year we have been distributing Hygiene Kits to underprivileged children and women on a monthly basis. To date we have successfully issued over 300 hygiene kit ration cards to more than 300 girls enabling them to collect their Hygiene Kit anytime in the 1st week of every month.
The issue of period poverty has a significant impact on women and girls and we aim to work towards promoting menstrual equity right from the grassroots level to the international level.

Go Hygiene Foundation distributes Sanitary Hygiene kit of 8 Sanitary pads, 2 Panties, A tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Bath Soap and 4 Sachets of Shampoo to women and girls from marginalized backgrounds.
We also educate and empower girls and women, reduce stigmas and develop their confidence and comfort around menstruation by hosting Awareness Programmes on a monthly basis.
